Public Service Editor
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Public Service Editor to join our dynamic Project Department. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the editorial process of academic research publications across multiple initiatives including Encyclopedia journal, Preprints.org, conference proceedings. If you have a passion for scholarly publishing and a strong ability to coordinate editorial tasks, we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize the peer-review process for submitted manuscripts/submissions and coordinate editorial decisions
Coordinate email communication between all parties involved in the publication process
Collaborate closely with editorial, conference, and production teams to ensure seamless workflow
Perform editorial tasks across a variety of projects, including Encyclopedia journal, Preprints.org, conference proceedings and other editorial-related initiatives
Ensure all manuscripts are formatted according to in-house standards and deadlines are met
Maintain high editorial quality and consistency across all materials published
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background: MSc degree (natural science, technology, medicine, engineering, and mathematics-related disciplines)
Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Strong written and spoken English skills
Ability to multitask effectively and attention to detail
Good communication skills and growth-oriented mindset
Strong organizational and time management skills
Additional Requirements:
Experience with scholarly publishing or academic research is highly desirable.
