Product Owner
Position Overview
To ensure the successful and timely delivery of the User Hub project, we are looking for a dedicated Product Owner. This person will be responsible for managing and prioritizing the development backlog, coordinating team activities, and aligning the project timeline with business goals.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Drive the delivery of a strategically important, customer-facing product central to our portfolio.
- Own and manage the product backlog to prepare for development sprints and iterations.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the development team.
- Translate business needs into clear technical specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove blockers, and align development efforts with strategic goals.
- Track progress and team velocity, validate new product increments, and maintain backlog transparency.
- Ensure non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, maintainability) are prioritized.
- Develop deep understanding of end users’ needs and ensure those needs are met in the product.
- Lead internal and external launch coordination of the new interface.
- Serve as the go-to expert for all matters related to the User Hub project.
- Foster a collaborative and productive team culture.
- Establish product performance metrics to inform ongoing and future decisions.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s degree is a strong plus
- 2–5 years of experience as a Product Owner for a digital, customer-facing platform
- 2–5 years of experience working in a multicultural environment
- Fluent in English
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365
- Advanced knowledge of Atlassian Cloud tools (Jira, Confluence)
- Advanced understanding of Agile methodologies for software product development
- Takes ownership and enjoys responsibility
- Decisive and solution-oriented
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
- Comfortable handling technical details
- Ambitious and driven
