HR Generalist
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced HR professional who will be able to support MDPI’s human resources functions. The successful candidate will mainly focus on employee support, mentorship and mediation, as well as lead HR projects, whilst participating in the hiring processes for the leadership roles. In addition to this, HR Generalist will support our junior HR employees, and help improve the internal HR processes.
Responsibilities:
- Acting as a trusted business partner to all employees by providing support, mentoring and coaching
- Acting as an escalation point in resolving complex employee related issues
- Participating in the recruitment processes, with focus on leadership roles
- Leading various HR projects and initiatives
- Improving the internal HR processes
- Developing initiatives that promote employee wellbeing and a healthy working environment
- Supporting and advising junior HR employees
Requirements:
- Preferably Master’s degree in HR or related field (humanities, management, law)
- At least 3 years working in an HR Generalist or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of HR processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good influencing and coaching skills
- Experience working within an international and fast-paced work environment
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
- Approachable and friendly personality
