Frontend Engineer (Web Apps)
To strengthen our IT & R&D team, we are looking for a Frontend Engineer to establish state-of-the-art practices for our frontend architecture and frontend stack. You will join a fast-paced team driving in an international environment.
As the Frontend Engineer you will:
- Design a flexible, maintainable, well-structured frontend architecture (technical leadership for the frontend architecture and stack is a plus)
- Establish and improve guidelines for API design for backend developers to follow
- Implement a new frontend web app along the lines of the frontend architecture on one product (later, help to scale the implementation to other products)
- Build up processes between frontend, UX design, and IT projects
- Take over responsibility for topics relating to security, documentation and test strategies of the frontend stack
- Learn through sharing good practices and establishing high standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in computer science, a Master is an advantage
- At least 3 years of experience in architecting and implementing frontend web apps with a major framework (preferably React or Vue.js)
- Knowledge of backend applications / REST API design is a plus
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Detail oriented with the capacity to see the big picture
- Team player with the capability to work in a dynamic, international environment, and excellent interpersonal skills
- Able to think outside the box to identify and solve problems whilst developing creative and innovative solutions
